Sheffield City Library is undergoing reorganisation as follows:
The Business, Science & Technology (BST) and the Arts & Social Sciences (ASS) Libraries will merge and become Reception, Reference and Information - a single access point for reference services and a reception /information point for the Central Library. It will be located in the current BST room on the ground floor. The current BST Library will close on Saturday 25th April and reopen as RRI Thursday 28th May.
During this period the Business, Science & Technology Library will be running a limited service, eg Newspapers (Financial Times etc), magazines and journals and a limited enquiry service from the City Library's Arts, Social Sciences & Sports Library.

Electronic access to UK doctoral theses
Access to UK doctoral theses in electronic form is now available to researchers worldwide via the Electronic Theses Online service(EThOS). EThOS was developed by the EThOS partnership, comprising several UK Higher Education Institutions and the British Library with funding from the Joint Information Systems Committee (JISC), Research Libraries UK(RLUK) and partners.
